London - Manchester - Liverpool

Thursday 11th MAY 2006 - Arrive at Heathrow

The flight was nice, seeing there were 180 empty seats. So we had fair share of empty seats beside us,and that makes even economy class  "a sleeper seat".The flight took about 12 hrs,and since I  was still unsure  how prepared i am,i took the chance to study onboard.Lucky the  In-flight entertainment (IFE) were down,so  all i did in the flight was sleep and study and eat and sleep.

Arrived Heathrow earlier than expected.it was 0515 in the morning, and i think MAS flight is still the first to touch down in Heathrow,so there were no queues, passed the immigration and customs quite quickly and easily.

All 4 of us,then bought the ticket to get into the city by Tube, and the 3 of them disembarked at the Earls Court station, while i continued my journey to Kings Cross, where i am suppose to meet Azman Jamaluddin (Man-10) thereNajibme

I waited Man for quite some time at the Thameslink station, because he was waiting for his mom to cook nasi lemak.Owh thats a good reason to be late,at least he can bring some so i can have a good nasi lemak under the british sun.We then walked to Euston station where we are going to get onboard the Virgin train to Manchester at 1035.It was still early in the morning,so as planned,Hani will join us to have a morning chat and some breakfast at the Euston station.

We got ourselves onto the Virgin Train to Manchester by quarter past ten.The train was quite comfortable and it took only 2 hrs to arrive in Manchester PiccaddilyVirgin.

We arrived as scheduled,1246 at Manchester Piccaddily station. There we met Firdaus (my batchmate) and Wan Mohd.Firdaus or betterknown as Wandaus. So the plan of the day (made by them) is to visit Liverpool’s Anfield after lunch. We ate at Subways before being fetched by Brader Kamil,a friend of Faizi,Daus’ brother.Oh yeah and we were driven in Faizi’s car, just like when i was in london back in 2003.Albertdock

As brader Kamil were to have some tuff time to find where’s the Anfield we then took some time off to wander around the Albert Dock.ship stuffs.hehe.Eventually we got ourselves to the Anfield stadium and went into the museum tour as well,(which was horrendously small and uninformative - compared to the one’s in the Old Trafford-hey dont bite me.its d cold hard fact) We paid 5 pounds each, and those liverpool fanboys did their shopping in the official store.

Younwa

Later,we were invited by Brader Kamil to visit his sister’s house somwhere in Liverpool to have something to eat (YES!) and we humbly agreed. They were a couple of doctors, just arrived in liverpool but the most important thing is the cookings were very delicious.Yum yum. Then Brader Kamil sent us back to the Manchester Brittania Airport Hotel to check-in.The exam is going to be held there,so we spent the evening resting, and did some studying prior to the exam next morning at 9.
